Performing RO Membrane CIP Cleaning and RO Membrane Replacement is not easy within Pharma Industry as checks and control are more stringent then any other industry, however with clear and document approach and procedures, we accomplish this as below:
- We perform the site visit, perform Risk Analysis and get it approved with client team
- The actual day we declare the permit to work and get everyone signed to start the work
- Isolate the area and compete team use PPE kit to maintain High Hygine requirement
- Use NSF approved Chemical (Naoh, Citric Acid) for CIP Cleaning
- Now prepare for CIP cleaning as bellow:
- Prepare the chemical
- Flush the RO system with permeate to remove any loose debris or contaminants
- Circulate the cleaning solution (Naoh & Citric Acid) through the RO system
- Post Cleaning Rinsing – Now perform the ringing with permeate to ensure no residue left
- Sanitisation: Perform the sanitisation of RO Membranes and circulate throughout the system
- Ensure complete rinsing to prevent any residual sanitizing agent from being carried over into the RO product water.
- Perform post-cleaning checks to ensure cleanliness, integrity, and proper functioning.
- Measure all parameters pH, Pressure, Conductivity and put the system back into the production
- Prepare the final report and submit with Pre and Post Parameters Results
